Artha Development work
I'm part of a small team that is developing a webcomic, Dragon ReBooster, (Which is a matured reboot of Dragon Booster). I created the turnarounds for the lead protagonist, Artha.
The Final Design.
The final design of his racing gear outfit.
An earlier version (although the team asked to try a new hair style)
New directions proposed for the hair. The first one was chosen to be developed further.
Experimentations for the comb over hair.
The team's favourites were then narrowed, and a combination of 4 and 6 was played with to create 7 and 8. 8 Became the final design.
An earlier concept for Artha's design. Changes from this concept was that this design was broken up into two different outfits, Casual and Racing. The design also required simplifying, to be more friendly to draw for the comic.
The first concept made for the reboot. (The right being references from the original 2004 show) The design on the left was the first draft of the redesign. The style of the reboot hadn't been decided at that point, and was trying a more exaggerated style.
